A Moment of Solitude

This time is was really snowing. I've never seen it accumulate like this in Alabama. What is it about snow that brings such calm and serenity? I was outside, it was 10:00 at night, the roads were empty, the snow was falling softly barely making a sound when it landed; it was just so beautiful. So I took a moment, and enjoyed the solitude and the sound of the snow hitting my umbrella.
