So. I've dropped my MySpace, or least, blanked out the page because I'm tired of being added by people who don't realize I'm a photographer and think somehow I'm all those pretty women in the pictures, blegh. I'm retaining the page though mostly to keep the URL, who knows what will happen in the future. Then, there's Model Mayhem. I'd say one out of 10 people who contact me there are actually serious about modeling and aren't just trying to get me to do TFP photos of them for their boyfriend or what have you, no ladies, I'm no interested in shooting you half naked for no good reason. I may drop that site to. Which brings me to facebook. As with most social networking sites I try my damnedest to fight them, but in the end I learn it's not as bad as it seems. I use it as a personal profile....kinda. I've never really considered using it for my photography. What say you fellow deviants? To facebook or not to facebook? That is the question. There's also a poll if you're interested in just clicking one button rather than sharing your insight ;D
Last Sunday I did a shoot with =
eyrieslove1 and it was good fun indeed! She had some great ideas and I think we made a good team. It was fun being just the model. She's got two shots up for now:
go share some

And be sure to check out the rest of her gallery too!
[link]A Christmas Carol

I went into this movie expecting a light hearted fun kids movie, but I was pleasantly surprised. I found it was much more than that. It was a wonderful adaptation of the classic story and I liked that it wasn't fluffed up. There were certainly scary parts, intense parts, and of course the happy parts, but that's the story. Zemeckis also utilized the 3D aspect very well, he took advantage of the medium and I'm glad he did. There was more to the scenes than just some extra depth. I think that because it's animated, people are assuming that it's made just for kids, but I think those rules are changing now. Not that kids couldn't watch it (as long as they don't scare easy) but even the language is faithful to the original book, so I'd imagine it would be difficult for them to follow. In summation, if you like the classic story and you'd like to see it in a fun new way, definitely check this version out in 3D.
The Ugly Truth

Pretty much your par to the course romantic comedy, with setbacks. I love Katherine Heigl, I love Gereard Butler, and their chemistry was pretty much the best thing about the movie. I felt the story wasn't worked enough and you don't get much of a background with Butler's character. Plus...his American accent wasn't working for him. There were certainly funny parts as well, but overall I'd keep it to a renter if you like this kind of movie. I wouldn't add it to my collection.
The busy days always happen when you're not ready for them, go figure. But it's all good, this week is a short week because Thursday is Thanksgiving!

Yay!! Who's gonna eat lots of food?? I'M gonna eat lots of food!

I love food. It's a good thing I did that photoshoot before, haha...just kidding...but seriously. It's about time for a vacation and I'm very much looking forward to it. I'll be visiting my boyfriend's family in Georgia where they just moved to, so it should be a nice trip. In other news, I have some REALLY great photoshoots planned in the next three months. They're pretty decent undertakings, or at least more so than I've done in the past, so I hope they work out and I really look forward to sharing them with you. Stay tuned!!
Until next time...
