My Photographer Interview


No, not the movie or the books. The art show by =sesfitts. Because I happen to be a bit of an idiot, I ended up being really late because I didn't realize the time changed right at the Georgia border! But we ended up making it just before he left, and I was so happy! His work is really amazing, but it's definitely a whole 'nother experience seeing it person. Seeing them full scale, all the details up close, wow. I Also, I'm buying one of his paintings and I'm hoping to get it paid off soon becuase I'm looking forward to putting it in my apartment!


So there have been a plethora of spam messages going around dA. Best recommendation, do not click any links! At all! Even if it came from someone who is a legitimate deviant not just some random person who signed up for the sole purpose of spam. Accounts are being hacked all over the place, so change your password and no clicking! Be safe



So I've been really inspired by photographer named Joey Lawrence [link]. I've been reading his blog, and am really just blown away by his work. His recent series "Abyssinia" really almost brought a tear to my eye. And he's so young too! I realized that, I've always wanted to travel, and there's absolutely no reason not to. So I'm planning two trips right now. One is that I'd like to take a trip to Mexico, in particular towards Veracruz, because that's where my father grew up. He never really spoke about his childhood, so I want to go and see the area for myself and hopefully learn something new. I'd also like to take an epic trip around the US. Just get in my car and go. Now, that's something I should have done right when I graduated, but I had no moneys. So I'm saving up all my earnings (with the exception of spending on food/gas/bills/small luxuries) and hopefully when my boyfriend graduates he and I can just go. So that's my plan, I'm staying motivated but doing constant research, working out trip details/finances. And hopefully in about a year or two I'll be off. Wish me luck!
