So, I have not been on deviantART as much as I used to. I find my internet time decresed over the last few years and I check Facebook & Twitter much more often as it's quick, easy, and I go on my merry way. But deviantART still holds a special place in my heart as it is where I hold my humble beginnings. So to offer you an update:

Tuscaloosa Tornado
April 27th, 2011. An F5 level tornado ripped through my town of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Absolute devastation. I count myself lucky to not only be safe and well, but to have a place to call home and rest my head at night. Everyone I know is safe and well. cutofakiss (https://www.deviantart.com/cutofakiss) & raemarshall (https://www.deviantart.com/raemarshall) were here also, but are on their way to their respective homes safe and sound. Please keep Tuscaloosa in your thoughts and prayers. If you are a local, I'm going to set up a Help Portrait for the families that lost everything. Congratulations on the DD and being published!
I too have to selectively divide my time on the web (it takes up too much time for me!!). Facebook and Twitter usually get cut and DA and Tumblr get the focus. I plan to change some of that this year focussing a bit more on FB since the audience is different than here on DA.
